M.O.R.E. is on the MOVE!

M.O.R.E. is on the MOVE!

Medacta was founded with the philosophy that education is an indispensable tool for transforming innovation into concrete benefits for patients, surgeons, and healthcare systems.

2020 brought on unprecedented challenges that our company has never seen, but we continued our mission in medical education with the creation of Medacta Grand Rounds, an opportunity for orthopedic surgeons around the world to tune-in and engage with esteemed faculty concerning a variety of timely topics. These events will continue to be hosted, and previously recorded events can all be found on Medacta TV.

Continuing our commitment to medical education, our mobile learning center has hit the road. At Medacta USA, we understand that time and proximity can be major barriers to high quality orthopedic training and continuing education. Designed to meet orthopedic surgeons where they are, locally and in a socially distant environment, “M.O.R.E. on the MOVE” represents an effort to reinforce our commitment, coast to coast, by presenting enhanced opportunities in the pursuit of clinical excellence in total joint arthroplasty, spine and sports medicine

“M.O.R.E. on the MOVE reflects our commitment to delivering best-in-class medical education opportunities to the surgeon community.  It’s a great reflection of our collective resilience and creativity when the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to reshape our Learning Centers.  We found the smaller groups to be every bit as productive as our larger events and decided to stick with the model.  We all hope to return to the larger events, as well, but until those are predictably safe, we’ll continue bringing the experience to as many locations as possible.” -Matt Goudy, Managing Director- Medacta USA

Our motto, “The Surgeon is Never Alone”, has never been more apparent – especially in light of the ongoing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This mobile lab experience is being provided in partnership with the Surgical Training Institute.  As potential exposure to COVID-19 is constant and unavoidable, it is important to provide clinical and temporal parameters for notification and protocol for staff isolations. In circumstances where STI or Medacta USA staff have a verified positive PCR COVID-19 test, STI & Medacta will be following the attached policy.
