First MySpine MC Surgeries in Austria

First MySpine MC Surgeries in Austria

Medacta International is proud to announce that the first two MySpine MC cases have been successfully completed in Austria recently.

MySpine MC was launched on the market in 2018 and shortly after its official launch the first MySpine MC surgeries were performed in Austria, as Medacta continues its expansion into spine surgery. The cases were performed at the Landeskrankenhaus in Feldkirch and at the Orthopädisches Spital Wien Speising. Both surgeries were very successful, and the surgeons have been satisfied with the MySpine MC guides and the patient outcomes.

MySpine MC, part of Medacta’s MySpine platform, is a surgical technique for lumbar stabilization procedures based on 3D-printed, patient-matched guides that will help the positioning of vertebral screws in the midline cortical approach. Surgeons utilizing the MySpine platform benefit from access to a user-friendly navigation system that provides guidance and tools for every stage of the personalized spinal surgery process. Learn more about the MySpine platform on the dedicated webpage.

To support surgeons in the application of the MySpine MC system, Medacta M.O.R.E. Institute has created a comprehensive education program. Check out all the details about the M.O.R.E. Education Spine Program and contact us if you wish to receive more information about our course listings, online library resources and formal education programs.
